A Crowned Thorn

What is the value of a thorn in our Christian journey? First, we must identify what a thorn is. According to the Dictionary one definition describes a thorn as “a source of continual annoyance or trouble”. A thorn can cause an immediate pain from its puncture or it can cause constant irritation and distress. Thorns that appear as a source of trouble are usually not welcomed companions on our daily quest. But the thorns we encounter are useful despite their irritations and disruptions. Thorns come to challenge and to strengthen your faith, your character, and your witness as a child of God. Thorns are the mechanism from which you gain more than you lose. Thorns are the pathway to reaching higher heights and deeper depths of sanctification and glory. With each thorn that attaches itself to your life, you become more and more like Christ. You become an overcomer of the thing that came to irritate or to disrupt your growth, but it, in turn, propels you into greater achievement in holy livi...

God's Anointed Lamb

Are you remembering heavens perfect lamb this season?  Are you giving homage in your speech and in your actions to recall, rejoice, and share in the greatest love and the greatest sacrifice of all time?

2 Timothy 4:6-7 says that He was purposed and successful in pouring out all of himself to be a living daily sacrifice to please His father in heaven and to win souls for the kingdom. The holy babe we remember this Christmas season entered earth leaving a holy kingdom in order to establish a new kingdom on earth.

He sacrificed all.

The great I AM came and fulfilled His divine assignment. Pouring out His will, His comfort, and ultimately, His Life with holy meekness and aggressive intent. He came as a lamb among wolves to be a living sacrifice of love to mankind.

He gave all.

We should at least remember and honor the One who came lowly into this world and left a valiant sacrificial lamb. Returning to the right hand of the Father with all power in his hand. An example of humility, compassion, and brotherly love. Mary’s baby and our Savior. The Holy lamb of God.
How could one of such humility, love, and sacrifice not be remembered and adored?

What would this season look and feel like if we collectively and sincerely hark and heralded heavens perfect lamb? Shouldn’t we be evoking such a sentiment of love and praises of gratitude that resonates all the way to the heavens?

Before this season ceases let our conversations speak of the gift of heavens lamb. Let our voices ring with praises and our hearts repeat prayers of remembrance and gratitude so that we may wrap heaven in love.

Let’s shower heaven with our worship for sending us heavens best.
Declaring through our deeds that we have not forgotten nor discount in this season the reason we celebrate. We proudly celebrate with our whole hearts and honor the sacrifice and gift of Gods anointed lamb.
