Have Faith In Your Faith

Devotional Titled Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding.

We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward.

Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God's hand and His companionship makes you wise. Filling that spiritual need by venturing to learn how to trust and believe on and in Him daily. Growing in your ability to live, move, and have your being fully connected and divinely inspired, all because you had the courage and the desire to live a life of faith.

So, don't discard the faith that led you to seek Him, instead, cling to this faith so that you can remain by His side. Continue to pursue and grow in the faith that has helped birth the you, you are today and the things you have yet to accomplish. The power of faith and the continuous belief in what faith can produce in and for you is a gift to cherish. Your faith has brought you this far, believe in it to carry you on.

Journal Entry:

Dear Lord, I am what I am because of faith. I am so grateful to have the faith to believe in you. I have gained so very much for trusting my need for you and saying yes to a life with you. My faith in you is growing despite how weary I get from all the testings of this life. I pray my faith in you continues to grow and I never doubt the faith I have come to stand and rely upon. Keep me close, precious Lord, and please help my faith to remain.

Now it is your turn to let your soul speak. How are you renewing yourself in the faith that led you to Christ? What are the gifts you have obtained as a result of that initial yes to seek and to find the savior of your soul? Journal your souls thoughts today!  God bless you!
