Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

Stay & Abide

Devotional Titled Stay And Abide

Scriptures tell us that if we seek out the secret place of the almighty and find it, there we should remain and dwell. Have you ventured to find that secret and sacred place yet? I don't believe God seeks to make it a hard discovery, but rather would like us to know that it is precious and worth finding.

The Bible is full of stories and parables. There is no shortage of journeys and challenges mentioned  to help us see our selves, study the paths taken, and grow from the experiences shared. Just like in the Bible, the pathways of our souls are winding and full of wonder and questions. As we seek to discover ourselves, identify our path and purpose, and seek to know more about the God we put our life and our trust in there is a hope that once we have arrived we would choose to stay.

The secret place we seek to find and remain in can, at times, feel out of reach or maybe not even real. But the quest to find and then stay is the goal we must endeavor to tread in order to find the place of safety, rest, love, and God himself. For without we fail to gain all that He can provide to us and for us. Therefore, we must find Him. He and He alone is the One who can fulfill what our souls long for and what our spirit's need.

In Him, it is possible to live and to persevere through the hardships of life. In Him and under the shadows of His nurture, His advice, His protection can we survive to be the light of the world. We may be tempted to seek shelter and solace elsewhere, whether that be in the arms of another, or in the immersion of our careers and family.  We may choose to only believe in ourselves and vow to trust no living soul. But scripture is not given to us as purely a book of stories and parables but as a living transcript, a living map incentivizing us to seek and to find our Heavenly Father and King. For if we seek Him and find Him we gain life and we gain Him. Therefore, the invitation has gone forth. Have you found the secret place? If so, stay for awhile and abide in the only place of abundance and grace and the overshadowing love and protection of God himself.
