Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

The Courage To Commit

Devotional Titled The Courage To Commit

A perfect being. A flawless soul, but not without great intention and determination of heart and will. The one we call Savior came purposefully to earth to fulfill such a mission that only He could do. How does one train and prepare to accept such a call? How was He able to keep himself encouraged to forge ahead as the mission became a daily task of hardship? Constantly faced with misunderstanding, rejection, isolation, and lacks of faith, He and He alone walked a journey of purpose with great courage and enormous sacrifice.

There is a propensity to think of God as always being God and, therefore, can handle anything that comes His way. But we must adhere to the glorious reality that He fashioned himself as a man and chose to walk the path of destiny riddled with pain and sacrifice, not for himself but to make a path of righteousness for others to walk upon. As a man, he functioned as a human would. Experiencing joy, sadness, hunger, tiredness, friendship, and loss.

So, what are the characteristics of God from which we can glean? How can we adopt the courage to commit to our own destinies regardless the path and perils?

How does one renew their spirit to continue to fight for the success of their divinely inspired missions with God as our guide and example? Let us pray and seek for Him to deposit in us the unmovable and remarkable will and courage to face all and to conquer all just as He set out to do and did do.

It may be easy to say it was because He was God in the flesh He could commit His will and His heart to endure such hardships. And we may struggle to see ourselves in such a like manner as He but the truth of our ability to conquer lives deep on the inside, but we must have the courage and the will to proceed, come what may.  God committed himself before He entered this world to be what we needed and what God required of Him. It wasn't enough to just say yes to the task, but to have the courage to commit to it through every trial, test, and disappointment. Let us walk on remembering His remarkable dedication and courage to find the inspiration and help we need to commit with courage to the journeys of our lives.

Journal Entry

Dear Lord, I am in awe of you. When I think of all you endured so that we could become heirs and joint heirs with you in glory, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. But in the same breath, I feel worried that I may let you down. The cares of this life are so draining and self defeating. I don't always feel I have the courage to continue on such a hard path, but nevertheless I commit to keep trying for you.  Just as you had the courage to commit to completion, with your help I will commit to finish my race in victory too.

Are you fully committed to run your race for the Lord? Are you struggling to find the courage to fight on? Now it is your turn to let your soul speak by taking your thoughts and cares to Him.  Grab your journal and let Him encourage you and give you the strategy of success for your life. God bless you.
