Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

Live Like You Are Treasured

Devotional titled Live Like You Are Treasured #heardanduplifted #devotional

Christ is the best of and at all things. We, as His followers and children, come to realize as we learn more of Him that His ways are not our ways and are beyond our ability to presume, or anticipate.

When it comes to planning and executing, He is the best. He is the ultimate artist and creator, and He is love and justice personified. There are no faults, errors, bad intentions in His character, and on top of that, He is not a hoarder of all His perfection, for He chooses to share of His grand character and nature with us. Thus proving again that He is in a category all by himself. God is exceptional also because of His deep care for His children. It is beyond the mind and the heart to understand how He would willingly invest and ingest himself into such fallen and flawed creatures.

Why would He want to share His majesty with a people who are bound to disappoint? Well, it's because in His being and through His eyes, He can only treat us and see us as His beloved treasures. He hates sin and will not be associated with it, but He uses all of His power to still love on His creation in hopes of them returning unto Him in holiness to live together in harmony.

He chooses not to abandon His children because He holds them so dearly. The Lord devotes to showcasing himself to us in the small and in the miraculous, so that we can one day not only choose to want to be bound to Him, but to allow His greatness to work and flow from us. No longer operating in our weaknesses but allowing ourselves to showcase our worth to the world boldly and with confidence.

Through His grace, continuous patience, and mercy, we have gained entrance into another year. This is another opportunity to discover who we are in Christ and to live in the glory of such a gift. We must earnestly and energetically seek to discover and affirm the ways we are so very special to God, and then we must strive to live in this world by loving ourselves in like manner.

This year, we should not waste the precious gift God has given and aim to love ourselves better. Seek to  speak with kindness and show ourselves grace as we learn new things and improve our skills. Learn to value our need for rest and trusting relationships. Let us prioritize self care and repeatedly getting in the face of our Lord to be taught in the ways of Him so that we can truly and honorably reflect Him.  Lastly, let us work on ceasing to compare ourselves to one another in negativity and jealousy, but instead, let us focus on seeing ourselves and each other as unique treasures that cannot be compared or replaced.

So, with God's help, we will spend this year valuing ourselves and basking in the truth of how much we are loved. Committing ourselves to devote more time to appreciating and affirming who we are and whose we are. Keeping this truth at the forefront of our minds, hearts, and actions. Living like treasured beings secured in the Masters' hand.

Journal Entry: My goal this year is to live like I am a treasure and treasured by you. It is time that I see myself as you see me and remove the layers of insecurity and free myself to live as a treasured jewel and let my unique light shine unapologetically. For if you treasure me why should I feel less than? So Lord, with your help, please help me to live differently this year with my head held high in joy and safety with confidence, like I've never known. Help me to remind myself that I am the heart of you and where your heart is, there will your treasure be also. Thank you for valuing me, help me to value myself in you.
