Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

 The pandemic showed us that change is imminent and time is precious. It also reminded us that our spirit and soul need to find a consistent place of rest and communion with the Father. It is in these times of stillness can we pray to find wisdom and the redirection needed to stimulate a rebirth of ones purpose and dreams.  It is too easy to become distracted by the routines and demands of daily living that we can veer from the vision and the fullness of life God created for us to live.

God is our answer and our motivator. He holds the key to better understanding ourselves and understanding how we are to live a life that honors His design and mission. When we fail to get into His presence with consistence, our spirit and soul become malnourished and we can easily be led astray from living the abundant life God had intended; instead trading it for the mundane repetitive and often self serving motions of life.

But, God has a vision of who we are to become, what we are to do, and what we are to experience. He holds the map that charts a path towards wholeness and abundance but we must contend to be in His presence in order to discover and to implement His plan.

So, how will you go forward to learn the heart of God for your life? How will you embrace and seek to find places of solitude for intimate communion with your Lord and King? There is more to this life you are living. God is waiting to share His vision and joys for your life that He can't wait to see you fulfill. There are many treasures waiting to be discovered in the sweet still moments of a rested soul and quieted spirit. So, journey forward with expectation and exploration! God is waiting to light the path forward with Him as your friend and guide, if only you would prioritize quiet time with Him!  

Journal Entry: Dear Lord, I am not who I was. Time and circumstances have changed me, this I know. But as I sit here today please hear my heart's cry. I don't want to go forward the same way. Please share with me the things that are hindering me and distracting me from living a more abundant life. Give me the courage and the boldness to take all excuses, distractions, and challenges off the table. May I enter into the secret place where we can stroll in the spiritual garden where you will reveal your dream for me and how you will help me to achieve them. I am so ready to travel the path forward with you!
