Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

As a Believer, there will be times when you will need to encourage yourself. Many are the trials of life, but so are the victories when you allow yourself to see past your wounds. When you give yourself permission to look past your wounds you begin to see yourself in a deeper, more meaningful way.

As we go through our lives we must daily release the pains and rehearse the truths of our lives. If we only choose to identify and ruminate  on that which is hard and disappointing, we rob ourselves of seeing who we are becoming and the great work of God in and around us.

A stumbling block to abundant living is to stay in a posture of pain without seeing the goodness that is happening despite the pain. You can free yourself daily, hourly from your burdens by seeking to acknowledge and give thanks for the victory of a preserved character in the face of mistreatment, the victory in spirit when your circumstances are hard to bear, the victory in struggling in order to grow, and the victory in remaining faithful no matter the cost. Child of God you are fighting a good fight. You are winning in spite of all the things that come against you. Pain and struggle are prevalent and burdensome, but you are proving daily that by God's grace and strength that you are more than a conqueror, you are an overcomer, a living witness that you can endure great struggles and still maintain and accomplish much, with your character and integrity intact.

With pain can come depression. With depression the heart, emotions, and body suffer. You can free yourself from within when you acknowledge and give thanks for what you are achieving in spite of the ills you face.  God does not desire for you to live in the negative when He has equipped you with His spirit to thrive, regardless of what is happening around you, and to you.

Free yourself from within by releasing the spirit of truth to override the pain and the struggles you face. Let a fresh wind of grace and calm enter, then will you be able to see the wonder of you.  You have the power to heal from within with the power of your own testimony. You are amazing. You are not your problems, and your problems are not stopping you from blossoming in spite of them.

So today, show yourself some love. Shake off the coat of heaviness and replace it with the wings of truth and gratitude. Let your soul soar with a song of praise for who you are in God. You're so worthy of the admiration!

Journal Entry: Lord, I do not want to be the walking wounded any longer. I am changing my posture from one of heaviness to one of strength. I choose now,  to let the power of my testimony free me. I need to honor the work and the results of having you in my life. I desire to spend more time in thanksgiving and appreciation rather than living in a posture of victimization. I am a living testimony that in spite of what I've been through, I have kept my faith, my hope, my character, my integrity, and I have remained obedient to you. As a result, I have accomplished much, because I put my trust in you. So, Lord with your help, I will tell my testimony to myself, sharing both the challenges and the victories you are helping me to achieve daily, so that my mind, my spirit, my body can live in freedom, and less in bondage.

Now it's your turn to let your soul speak! Grab your journal and write a praise report all about you! Share how in spite of your trials and difficult circumstances you are...share how seeing your list has inspired and encouraged you for the journey ahead!
