Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

We Win Daily

In the life of a Believer, we are often striving to overcome something.  We are challenged to endure the many seasons of change within ourselves, in our homes, in our world, and ultimately, in our faith.

We are running a race towards heaven by winning the battle over ourselves and over the oppression that seeks to derail us from reaching our potential in Christ. This race of living as a child of God is an extremely personal endeavor, and it is, a race of faith.

This race of faith requires us to fight daily. We fight daily to hold onto God in spite of, and in the midst of whatever challenges that present themselves. The more we live, the more dependent we become on the fellowship, guidance, and strength of our Lord, and friend.

It is with increased intimacy, and in authentic communion that we become equipped to live and to survive our daily battles. We win daily by demonstrating to ourselves and to those who witness our lives that our commitment to God produces victory. Victory to show up, day in and day out and not give in to the temptation to sit and to quit.  Each day we rise and rest is a recorded victory and should not be taken lightly; for with each victory, God's faith in us increases.  God smiles with each day won, in partnership with Him.

We win daily when our mind, heart, and soul seeks to lean solely and fully on God. And when we do, we witness our own transformation in Him.  We see how we are made into better versions of ourselves, full of integrity, grit, and compassion, despite the pain, and despite the hardships we face.

We are running a race that has ultimately already been won. But, God seeks to give us daily testimonies of survival and victory in Him. So, celebrate each new days opening and closing that affirmed to yourself and to the world that "I made it", " I held onto God and God held onto me to get me through this day! Glory be to God!" Our place in the kingdom is settled. Our daily journeys are designed to draw us closer to God. If we take heed, then each day we live is another victory won on our journey to our heavenly home!

Journal Entry: Each day is a victory when I hold onto you Lord. Thank you for sharing with me that it gives you joy to see me lean and hope in you. Each day I am becoming more and more what you have crafted for me to be. I am in awe of what I can handle and what I can endure through you. This journey is hard, but if I am pleasing you with my life, then I know, I have won the greatest prize.

Now it's your turn to let your soul speak. Grab your pen and journal and share how the cares of this life don't draw you away but draw you closer to God.
