We are wonderfully crafted beings, lacking nothing that we need to be spiritually and emotionally well in the life we live. God, in His infinite love and wisdom, has created us with the need to let our souls seek to express itself whether in art, song, dance, and even in our writing.
We are spirit beings living in a natural world, and as such, our spirit needs to be fed and to release. There is something supernaturally filling and renewing when you give your soul permission to express itself. For we live daily in the landscape of Gods artistry and creativity. We gain strength and joy when we witness His handiwork here on the earth. Therefore, we are encouraged by His example to create and to express what's within us in order to obtain the pleasure and the support that comes when one has let their soul speak freely in partnership with God.
God is a relational God. He seeks to accompany us in all of our endeavors. He has given us outlets of communication to get the spiritual and emotional support we need. The power of the written word is an outlet that allows you to let your soul speak in pleasure and in pain and God meets us on the pages to share His heart and to help.
Letting your soul speak and to speak often in communion with God is necessary and creates an intimacy with God that is special. Having the ability to put into words what the soul is experiencing and to share them with your ultimate companion and friend is a gift God created by design. He created us to be and to share our innermost thoughts and desires for He seeks not only to hear but to fulfill.
We are beings who need to express and to be revived by letting our souls speak. We can find a joy that is unspeakable and remarkable when we take the time to write the words of our heart to the love of our life and creator of our souls. We need to express what is within with the One who can interpret and understand and yet respond in comfort and in love. So let's take on this gift and take the time to share the words of our hearts to God, in doing so we will find more joy and more connection to the Lord of our soul.
Journal Entry: Dear Lord I will let my soul speak! Guide my hands to speak the words of my heart with purity and with all sincerity. Help me formulate what what my spirit needs to say in written form for you and only you can interpret the special words of my heart. Take my words and transform them to aide me and to bring comfort as only you can do Lord. Thank you for the gift of writing and your ability to guide the work of my hands to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of my heart and soul.
