Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

Cope To Conquer

Have you ever been in a trial or a season of pain that seemed unending? Have you found yourself weary and tired of living with a broken heart and failed hopes?

As Believers, we are often referred to as children of the King.  Many times when problems arise we become childlike and we go and complain to our Heavenly Father and beg for His help to rescue us from the thing that is challenging or causing us pain. Although our instinct is right to take our cares to the Lord, we in our desperation often find Him quiet. But when He does speak, He speaks to us as grown children instructing us to do hard things and reassuring us that He would be there with us as we do.

This often results in more pain and frustration because in our attempts to seek relief He tells us to act and to endure. It does not give us the emotional gratification we are after, but because He is our father and directs our path we seek to please and to obey. Here is what is so interesting about being parented and guided by our Heavenly Father, He seeks to prove that as we cope with the hardness and pains of a situation our ability to deal with hard things improves and we become vessels of strength and durability both naturally and spiritually.  With each day that we endure under the pressure and strain is a moment of victory and each victory accumulates in us overcoming and conquering the thing, person, situation that had us bound, disappointed, or hurt.

No one seeks to be challenged, ridiculed, oppressed, or humiliated. No one volunteers to seek out hardships and painful circumstances but God seeks to perfect us through the experiences to demonstrate that He can take pain and turn it into glory. Knowing that with each step we take to cope by prayer, fasting, kindness, and a commitment to be a light in the world, God gets in the midst of our efforts and transforms us into vessels of strength and vessels of honor. Our ability to become conqueror's is by being able to endure step by step, day by day until we overcome and win.

So take heart today. The challenges are real and the pain we feel is real but our suffering will lead to an outcome that will be worth the fight. Don't you want to see what's on the other side of this pain? There is a reward, an outcome you've fought to achieve waiting for you to obtain, and by faith you will.

Journal Entry:Where is all this suffering taking me to? I feel like I'm crawling on scraped knees day in and day out just to endure. This journey gets so heavy and I find myself scarred, bruised, and weary and yet, in you do I trust and pray day and night. If you will hold me up I'll keep pressing my way.  For I believe something good is waiting for me when I arrive at the destination you have destined for me. So, I commit myself to your care. In you do I trust and believe.
