Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

Make Room For The Answer

When we find ourselves on the battlefield of the mind, the answers we desperately seek to find seem to allude us. As we try to move forward, we find ourselves on a perpetual treadmill of repetitively asking God for the answer and then proceeding to doubt He will ever clearly answer our request.

What is it about our nature that expects God to answer us immediately and in great detail? Why haven't we learned from our last challenge that God has a timing and way of leading us and guiding us exactly to the places and the answers that meet our need?

Truth is, God's ways are not our ways. His system is built on us seeking and waiting for His answers to be revealed. He cannot be rushed, nor can we limit the ways in which He will transmit to us the answer we seek, for it just might come in an unexpected way. Therefore, we must make sure to be alert and to ensure our heart and spirit has made room for the answer when He sees fit to reveal it.

God does not have to cater to our unease and impatience. He knows that our dependence on Him increases our ability to endure hardships and increases our ability to cope, by promoting patience and trust in Him to see us through. While we wait, we must seek to listen, for we know not when the answer will arrive.

God is relational. He not only will not move until He is ready, He also is one that likes to not just be talked at but to be talked with. We have to challenge our selves to get in conversation with God and to be ready for the sweet moments when God wants to talk with us.  It is when we pursue God relationally, not just to ease our discomforts, but to truly commune with Him, will we be found by Him. If we will wait and attentively listen, God will speak.

Journal Entry: Oh Lord, I never thought you would meet me in the silence this way. You sought me out to share with me the answers I needed. I am in awe Lord. I came to you often with a desperate heart and you found me in the stillness of night to fill me and to comfort me. It was in my time of rest that I got an unexpected visit. Your ways are not our ways for a reason. Thank you lord for your sweet and unexpected visitation!

    Now it's your turn.

How will you make room for the answers you are seeking from the Lord? Grab your journal and let your soul speak!
