Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

You Understand All

#heardanduplifted #soulspeak

Have you ever heard a sermon or read a devotional that made you look at God differently and with more compassion? Many times we understand Him and only see Him as God, but He was a man. Not like any man, but a man. He relates and understands the trials of life even greater than we do and seeks for us to see Him and the parallels of us in Him.

So, what was Gods experience like while He walked the earth?  The Bible says He is acquainted with grief and is not immune to the hurts and trauma of living. Because of who He is, the reason He was sent, we must conclude that the magnification of hurt, betrayal, and trauma must have been such an unbearable weight.  Yet, He pressed on. He is our example that if He could endure, we can as well.

What compassion and empathy is due to our great God. We forget to acknowledge that as we are pained and tried, He was hurt and tried greater.  Despite the sacrifice that was so great while He lived and the atrocity of the pain He felt in death He still chooses daily to bear with us the pains of our lives.

It is imperative that as we go forward and as we go to Him in prayer  that we remember that He wants to hear and to help because He truly does understand all because He suffered all.

Journal Entry: Oh Lord,  today I see you as more than qualified to be the One that I run to in my time of need and comfort. Forgive me for not fully seeing you and understanding the depth of how much you've suffered and the depth of your love to choose to continue to sit in and walk through the hardships of my life. You are so deserving of my love, compassion, and dedication. I honor and thank you for who you are.
