Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

We Did Not Faint!

We made it! We made it because we fought to get here. We fought our minds. We fought our fears. We fought our doubts. We fought to have hope. We fought to hang onto our faith and our God.

We did not faint despite what we heard, what we saw, and what we felt.  We are standing today because of the word of God that encouraged us and motivated us to keep going.  We are standing today because of the power of the Holy Ghost working within us to make us strong and courageous. We are standing today because of the ministers and saints who kept preaching and sharing they're testimonies of the proven goodness and steadfastness of our God.

We did not faint but chose to fight the good fight despite our wounded hearts and bruised spirits.  We showed up strong and did not faint because we chose to desperately believe in the One who holds the world in the palms of His hands  and had the audacity to believe that those same hands had the power to hold us up with that same great power.

This year confirmed our resilience and our commitment to each other and to God.  We learned again but  on a much deeper level that we through the power of the Holy Ghost are stronger than we think and very much fit for the battle. Its a battle we wished we did not have to endure and suffered greatly at its hand but we did not faint and we did not give in.

As this year takes its exist it's time for us to celebrate. It's time to reach out to your fellow soldiers in Christ and shower them with love and thank them for holding on and fighting a good fight.  It's time to join souls and to testify together about how the God of our salvation loved us and strengthened us to make it to the end of this year without fainting, without loosing our hope, and not letting go of His hand.

Let us in great solidarity start a parade of singing and shouting for our Lord has proven to His people that He and He alone is the pillar from which we stand and the armor in which we are clothed to fight a winning battle.

Let us go into the new year full of gratitude and full of the reassurance that we are indeed more than conquerors knowing that we will not faint in the face of great adversities.

Journal Prompt

Dear Lord I am so proud of your people and I am so proud to be a part of Team Jesus.  This was a season of such pruning and growing on such a level we could never have imagined. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to say I endured and I am still standing and thriving because of you.  You are doing a great work in the earth, in me, and in the lives of your people. May we continue to abundantly praise you for your ability to make us greater soldiers for the kingdom and grow in a deeper love and appreciation for all that you are and do in our lives.
