Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

A Safe Space For You And For Me

Featured Post

There is safety in speaking when it is with a tested and proven trustworthy friend or advisor. God has equipped us to be helpers one to another to provide the space to receive comfort, understanding, perspective, and hope.  There is a tendency in the body of Christ to want to hear the testimony of victory but not often of the ones who held our hands, wiped our tears, heard our desperate pleas for understanding and direction while we were going through.

We were not made to walk this life out alone and yet many of us do not have the privilege of having an army of advisors, counselors, or personal contacts at their disposal who have the spiritual fortitude, the emotional sensitivity, and the high degree of integrity in which we can be vulnerable to bring our current wounds and worries to. But God knows what we need. He knows we need to speak and to share for that is the path that leads us to our healing and our victory.

In this present world of many trials and circumstances personally, to our communities, and to the kingdom we need to increase our ability to reach out for Godly counsel and Godly support. It is also imperative that we examine ourselves to see if we are indeed safe places for walkers of the faith to come and be vulnerable, to lend a ear and offer love, kindness, and direction without judgment  and always being led by the Holy Spirit.  We need to speak our hearts and our experiences and we need to be fed with the kind of support that gets us out of our pain, or confusion, and to lean on a word from the Lord given to us by a fellow  Believer.

There are too many of us holding onto pain and questions when God has provided a body of community believers from which we can obtain connection and the path for healing and deliverance. Sometimes the challenge does not end but the spirit is renewed and relationship strengthened when the space is given to speak, share, and heal what’s heavy on our hearts and mind.  Lets send a wave of praise to those in our lives that offer a safe space for Godly support and enrichment during our lowest and trying moments and let’s also strive to be and to extend our reach of support to others so that more of us more often can speak and be healed through our connection to one another.

Journal Entry

Journal Entry: Lord please help me to enlarge my reach of being a safe place for those around me to speak and obtain their spiritual and emotional healing through the power of connection.  Lord also please help me to seek out and to obtain people in my life who I can trust and share my challenges, questions, and vulnerabilities and trust they will fill me with spiritual guidance and emotional support that  I need.
