Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

There Is No Weakness In Meekness

There is no weakness in being meek, in fact it is quite the contrary. As a Believer being meek is a choice and a sign of controlled strength, disciplined restraint, and an unyielding commitment to righteous living. Being meek, slow to anger, patient, filled with integrity and a peaceable spirit are the mannerisms and characteristics of a person who has been granted the privilege of having the God of creation living on the inside transforming their character and actions to be more like Him, from the inside out.

This transformation can make you stand out in so many ways and cause people to think ill of you and or mock your ways.  People can also mistake your controlled and intentful behavior and assume your weak minded, not able to defend yourself, and unlikable because you do not follow in the trends and ways of the world. But oh how they have it wrong. A converted heart, mind, and body operating in the spirit of the most high, choosing to willfully surrender their will and their strength to live as God commands takes a power of such magnitude and grace that the world could never understand!  Those who choose to live righteously in this present world despite the criticism and despite the uncomfortableness of being set apart gain strength, gain confidence, gain favor, gain joy that propels them onward! These are not weak people.  These are the greatest fighters of all time endowed with the spiritual spirit needed to keep standing out, going against the grain, challenging the status quo, and holding up and remaining a proud ambassador of the King!

So soldiers on the battlefield of life let's encourage each other in the strength that we possess. Let's not be swayed by the world trying to make us more like them and stand proudly and confidently in the power of our willing surrender. Let us frequently remind each other that there is nothing weak about living a meek and wholesome life and that when opportunities arise that cause us to fight, we will do that differently too, for we fight on our knees!

Journal Entry: Lord I am seen as strange because my methods of living are not like the worlds. As I write today help me to see my meekness as my strength. Help me to navigate this world in assurance and to not be ashamed for standing out. Help me to not be swayed by the ways of man and to stand in the fullness of You.
