Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

I Can't Fix Myself

Featured Post

Have you discovered that you can't fix yourself, you can't deliver yourself, you can't become what you desire on your own?  This is only discovered through the proverbial trial and error of living out this life and the proverbial feeling of frustration and exhaustion from the recurring issues, feelings, patterns, or circumstances that seem to plague and follow us.

Sometimes it feels as if we are living out our lives on the hamster wheel gaining success and or momentum but somehow finding ourselves back on the wheel pleading and praying for relief and or victory.  And it is also during this time of pleading that we say in desperation Lord you fix this, Lord please deliver me, Lord I can't do this on my own and strangely that is when help comes. We keep wishing for the issues, problems, and feelings to go away and yet the removal of issues was never promised to us. Now that doesn't mean He can’t bring a final resolution to your need but the real victory is relinquishing the need to fix anything on our own.

It is in the discovering and accepting that you will never be able to transform fully into what you desire and to who you need to be  nor will you be fully free of things that bring you frustration and pain but we can always seek out the creator who promises to be with us in and through all things. And when our hearts, minds and souls need a tune up, a refreshing, or a refuel seek out the manufacturer and builder of our hearts, mind, and souls, for He is our only solution to fix what we cannot.

So let’s lay down our strength in our abilities and our needs to be in control and lets graciously yield all of our problem parts to God. Let’s acknowledge our stressors and be free in handing them over to the one who knows us the best  and who can  give us direction and a way to cope. There is strength and freedom in knowing that you cannot fix yourself. And there is a strength and confidence that emerges and builds over time when you're ok with not having the answers or feeling the need to find the solution.

Journal Entry

Sometimes Lord I’m so tired of me. Tired of the things I can’t wish away and tired of the things I keep trying to fix to no avail. Please help me seek you and not myself. Help me to accept that issues and challenges will always remain but that I don’t have to try and fix them or endure them alone that you are the solution and the comfort I need to get through it.
