A Crowned Thorn

What is the value of a thorn in our Christian journey? First, we must identify what a thorn is. According to the Dictionary one definition describes a thorn as “a source of continual annoyance or trouble”. A thorn can cause an immediate pain from its puncture or it can cause constant irritation and distress. Thorns that appear as a source of trouble are usually not welcomed companions on our daily quest. But the thorns we encounter are useful despite their irritations and disruptions. Thorns come to challenge and to strengthen your faith, your character, and your witness as a child of God. Thorns are the mechanism from which you gain more than you lose. Thorns are the pathway to reaching higher heights and deeper depths of sanctification and glory. With each thorn that attaches itself to your life, you become more and more like Christ. You become an overcomer of the thing that came to irritate or to disrupt your growth, but it, in turn, propels you into greater achievement in holy livi...

Shout It Out...We're Still Here!





We are still here by the grace of God! We still have a mind to serve the Lord! We have continued to live on in victory day to day surviving and thriving in the midst of a pandemic. We still have hope rising up from within and we still live with assurance and faith in our God. We see that His word is being proven and is true and we still seek His face and desire His wisdom and His plan for us individually and for mankind.

In this sad and complicated time in our lives God has proved to us that He chooses to stay with us and never walk away from us in our times of need. He is showing us daily that He is walking hand in hand, heart to heart with us as we navigate the uncharted new way of living this Pandemic has created. 
Today, despite the pandemic, despite the fear, despite the uncertainty that plagues us in every area, we today are rich. Rich in the love of Christ. Rich in knowing who holds us and who holds the world in the palm of His hands. Rich in the provision of the master in whom there is always abundance and there is no lack. Rich in the power of His ability to keep us safe and assured in Him so that we should fear no man, no disease, no trial, for He is in control and He takes care of those that are His!
Were still here saints!  We still can offer a sacrifice of praise for the ability to say were still here!!!
Journal Entry: Tell your story of being kept during this pandemic for nobody knows the story of victory and perseverance of your journey like you. Tell your story and brag on your God for His will and power to keep you in such perilous times! Let your heart rejoice freely and openly as you magnify God in thanking Him that Were Still Here!!
