Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

Scared To Be Blessed

Blessings are bestowed upon us because we love God and have chosen to live for Him.  In return He has given us the gift of salvation and the gift of getting to know Him in a personal and intimate way. In the process of building a relationship with God and walking alongside Him each and every day we come to appreciate the blessing of knowing we serve a God that is ever present, ever listening, and always acting on our behalf. He is our forever friend and companion.
He has even gone further by reminding us and enabling us not to live by our own minds and our own power but in the power He has gifted to us in the form of His Holy Spirit. Accepting and living for God brings the blessed assurances of love, protection, and guidance. We as Believers expect and rely on these blessings but have you ever found yourself being scared to be blessed?  Scared of abundance, scared of recognition, scared of promotion, scared of the way He has gifted you to serve the kingdom and what that will require of you?
Sometimes blessings can be hard to receive because it forces us to live the life God sees us living and not the life we see for ourselves. Often times this God view of our lives is overwhelming and shines a light on what we think and how we see ourselves. This in turn is another blessing although it does not feel like it because it forces us to live a life of faith in process of discovering of what God has planned for our lives. Living out Gods plan forces us to examine our selves and work through our insecurities, lack of worthiness, and stepping out of our comfort zones.
Goodness comes in many forms and its God's pleasure to be the bearer of gifts in your life but sometimes we must learn to believe we are deserving of the blessings and equipped to handle the blessings by elevating our consciousness and our faith to live as God designed. It's a process worth the rewards. We must strive to work past our insecurities and beliefs about ourselves and continue to seek God to help us grow and mature in Him. In doing so God will begin to reveal more of who He is and Who you are to Him and why He sees fit for you to be, to do, and sit in positions you may have not seen for yourself. He wants for us to live the blessed life and we must strive to feel worthy of the abundance and fullness of gifts He wishes for us to have in this lifetime even if they come in ways we never would have imagined.
