Have Faith In Your Faith

Your faith walk had to have a beginning. So, how did your walk of faith begin? Was it a quiet draw or an insatiable drive to search and find the One your soul longs for? However, your journey began. It started with a need and that need was activated by faith. Faith that we were made for more and could experience more. That there is something to be found and worth the effort of finding. We are relational beings. God did not design us to live without the companionship of others and without the companionship of a divine father. We can ignore the void of not having our spiritual needs tended to. One can regulate this innate need and live a life never having experienced it. But if you are a soul that is seeking and willing to embrace it, you will need your faith to propel you forward. Once you have taken the leap of faith, it is upon faith that you continuously rely. Trusting in yourself in that you have chosen wisely to have faith in your need for faith. That by having faith to seek God

Committed

As you look over your time with the Lord have you been surprised by your level of commitment to serve and to love God come what may?  Love is powerful. Love in all of its fullness produces a dedication that is boundless. And when tested, it produces a resolve and an unfailing attempt to keep holding on,  even when it hurts or its difficult.
We often talk about, and rightly so, how deeply God is in love with us and how much He is committed to loving us when He frequently doesn’t get anything in return.  How often are you in reflection of your staying power? How often do you think of the times when your love for the Father was tested and how you, beyond all reason, but with all sincerity fought to stay close to God and to not walk away?
God is so good that He loves us so intently and in return we should love Him with such a dedication and a passion. Often we experience trials that test us to our core but in the testing we learn that the love of Christ lives deep within us,  so much so, that we have and will continue to suffer for His name sake because He is worthy of our love and commitment.

Journal Prompt:
